Sunday Morning Adult Discipleship Classes

New Sunday Morning Class: Rea
9:30am, 4th Floor
Starting February 7th at 9:30am on the 4th floor, a new Sunday school class will be offered, facilitated by Pastor Jason. REA means “neighbor” in Hebrew. The class will begin by looking at The Way of Jesus through the eyes and practices of the early prophets and kings of the Old Testament. Adult Discussion Group

Amici
9:30am, Fine Center Rm 260B
“Amici”, meaning “friendship” in Italian, is a class for those attending the 11am service. Class discussion is facilitated by members from the class and guest teachers. Contact: Kristin Stendera // kristins(at)spu(dot)edu

Bereans
11am, Glen Room
This group consists of mostly 30 and 40-somethings with a weekly focus on fellowship, prayer, and various Bible and discipleship studies. They meet in the Glen Room, behind the nursery, next to the library. Contact: Shelly Sehmel // tssehmel(at)juno(dot)com

Cana
11am, Demaray Chapel
This is a class of Senior Adults which meets at 10:45am for fellowship & coffee in the church library, and at 11:10am for the lesson in Demaray Chapel. Class Teacher, Karl Krienke teaches on “Major Bible Themes” as the study familiar topics from scripture. Contact: Karl Krienke // okk(at)spu(dot)edu

Disciples
10:45am, Office Conf Rm A
A small group of adults of mixed ages studying the Bible, either by specific topics or by book. It’s a very informal setting and a good way to get plugged in for those who are not comfortable with large class discussion. Contact: Gene Chin // genec(at)gmnameplate(dot)com

Homebuilders

Koinonia
11am, Fine Center Rm. 260C
A class of 40-50 year olds (or so) taught on a variety of topical themes and Bible studies. The class is characterized by its warm fellowship and lively open discussion. Contact: Craign & Linda Nolte // noltel1(at)spu(dot)edu

Samaritans
8:15am, Fine Center Rm 260B
A class for cross-generational early-birds, Samaritans meets at 8:15 and dismisses in time for the 9:30 worship service.
