Introduction
To our FFMC Family:
This section of your FFMC web page will be devoted to communications from the Pastoral Search Committee, and will post documents and progress reports relevant to the search process. We pledge to keep you as thoroughly-informed as possible, and we welcome any responses you may wish to make. (Please visit the Feedback/Comments page). We earnestly request your continuing prayers for our sensitivity and obedience to the Holy Spirit’s guidance in this process. May we keep the communication lines open, and effective, in the months and weeks ahead.
Current Phase / Recent Updates
- The Interim Pastor Expectations (3-6 months beginning about July 1) was approved by the LBA. (.docx)
- February 21 - After prayerful consideration regarding the 3-6 month interim period, the LBA and search committee have decided to move in a different direction regarding who our interim pastor will be. The decision-making process regarding who might effectively fill this position continues. The longer term search for a new lead pastor is proceeding well. As soon as more information regarding this process is available it will be communicated to the congregation. Please continue in prayer for this process that together we may discern God’s will for our church.

January 23 - The Lead Pastor Profile (.pdf) has been unanimously approved by the Local Board of Administration.- We have recently posted under the heading ‘About the Committee’ two of the documents we have promised you—a “Covenant” statement describing our operational ethics and procedures, and a “Job Description” delineating responsibilities and the many tasks to be performed.
