Looking For Youth Volunteers

Are you interested in getting involved with ministry to youth? Consider becoming an FFMC youth leader. (If you are in your first year of college, we ask that you wait until next year to apply.) Contact the Director of Youth Ministries, Stephanie Chatfield , at 206-281-2240 or stephanie(at)ffmc(dot)org if you are interested. While we invite and encourage both males and females to apply, we are in particular need of female leaders.

Sunday Morning Discipleship Classes

Senior High (grades 9-12), 9:30 am in the Youth Center

Junior High (grades 6-8), 11:00 am in the Youth Center
Within both age groups, students meet together to connect with God and each other through community-building activities, prayer, and a time of delving into Scripture in a group lesson.
*Incoming 6th graders start attending the Jr. High Sunday Discipleship Class on September 13. Enjoy your last summer in KidTown!

Sunday Morning Schedule for June-September 2009

June 21~ No Sunday Discipleship Classes for both Jr. and Sr. High due to Foot To Float
August 2-September 6~ No Sunday Discipleship Classes for both Jr. and Sr. High due to August All Together worship services (Come worship with the church community at 10 AM!!)
September 13~ First Sunday Discipleship Classes for Jr. and Sr. High for fall

Wednesday Summer Shindigs

Senior High and Junior High, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29; August 5, 12, 19
For the dates listed above, youth are welcomed to enjoy fellowship and fun! Summer Shindigs, regardless of the activity, costs $5 each. So, that’s $5 for each Wednesday activity. Look to the right for the complete summer 2009 calendar, including Summer Shindigs. Exact times, locations, and details for each Summer Shindig will be displayed below.

July 8 ~ Summer Shindig #4 - Overnighter, Weds, 7:30 PM-Thurs, 9 AM, drop off and pick up both at FFMC. Bring a sleeping bag, sleeping pad or air mattress if you wish, overnight essentials, and pajamas (but don’t arrive in them!). Remember your $5 and come for a night of fun!
