Our early childhood environment is based on Christian principles and values emphasizing God’s love for us all. We strive to go beyond just talking about His love and help our children and their families experience God’s love in tangible ways. Our qualified teaching staff and thoughtfully prepared environment will nurture each child’s spiritual, physical, and cognitive development in the following ways:
Provide activities that develop Christian principles and values such as loving God, self, and others.
Provide activities and an environment that are safe, healthy, inviting and well maintained while balancing rest and activity.
Provide age-appropriate structured and unstructured activities in literacy, math, art, music, and dramatic play.
Social and Emotional Growth
Provide opportunities to understand one's own feelings and behaviors, as well as those of others, and apply the knowledge through interactions and relationships.
North Queen Anne Child Care enrolls children who are 12 months in age (and walking) through preschool, and then we also offer an after-school program for elementary age students.
All preschool children participate in an educational program using curriculum created by our teachers, specifically for the children in their classroom. The curriculum highlights Washington State Benchmarks for Development and includes vocabulary development, number concepts, thinking skills, creative activities, art, music, stories and much more.
