SET FREE MINISTRIES
FFMC is uniquely positioned in Seattle to partner with the Set Free Movement and other NGOs in the city to create new futures for those affected by modern-day slavery. We seek to do this through community education, supporting survivors of domestic violence and, and ministering to foster families in Seattle.
We provide awareness and training to our community through hosting speakers and documentaries which educate and empower. We partner our training with R.E.S.T. Email Pastor Bonnie for more information.
Penny's Place is a safehouse for women coming from domestic violence or human trafficking situations. Volunteers are needed for home and yard projects, and to build friendships and mentoring relationships with Penny's Place women and children. Email Ellen for more information and to get involved.
FOSTER CARE MINISTRIES
70% of youth who are sexually trafficked have spent time in foster care. It's our goal to care for foster children, support foster parents, and encourage social workers. Email Camille for more information.
MEET PASTOR BONNIE
"Part of the 'free' in our name comes from our founding Free Methodists who were an early part of the abolitionist movement in the 19th century. Today we honor and continue this legacy as we fight modern-day slavery with a special emphasis on combating the minor sex trade in Seattle."
-Pastor Bonnie Brann
